I’ve been checking out laptops over the past weekend. It had been so hard to decide whether I should buy a laptop or not. Being almost in front of the computer for the whole work day everyday, and going home with the desktop for several years, I’ve thought that my own personal laptop can wait. But then, you know, the timing was just so good and I didn’t use a lot of charm to acquire this laptop. When the Google Adsense earnings (of hubby) arrived just days before mother’s day, I just decided to buy it when I walked in the computer store (Silicon Valley).
My laptop is an ASUS F8 series and I love it so much how it looks so sturdy outside. It’s packed with Vista but it’s on trial up to 60 days. I plan of buying the licensed Vista before it expires. Okay correction on this, what I have is MS office 97 and it’s on trial for 60 days. The laptop has freebies like 4gb usb disk and a mouse but I decided to convert it to upgrade 1gb of RAM. It also comes with a free bag. Right now, I’m thinking of buying a pouch but the designs I saw in some stores, they didn’t suit me. Here are the specs of my laptop.
